As a recruiter at The Photonics Group your primary focus is to source candidates and fill open requirements received from client companies.

Main responsibilities include Recruiting and Resource Management

• Assist senior recruiting team in developing pipeline of qualified engineering candidates through referrals, cold calling, competitor companies, Internet resources, college recruiting, marketing, networking, social media and professional organizations.
• Responsible for full recruitment life cycle, including partnering with all levels of management and/or sales to gain a full understanding of business requirements in order to proactively source, screen, and place top quality IT candidates nationwide, for current and future hiring needs.
• Identify, interview and screen all levels of engineering candidates to determine their qualifications, analyzing their responses, experience and knowledge in relation to our client’s position requirements, while also considering their cultural fit for the client environment.
• Adhere to all The Photonics Group tracking and logging system tools.
• Manage and coordinate all communication with engineering candidates.
• Maintain and grow relationships with engineers that you place, striving for consultant loyalty as evidenced by redeployment of resources as appropriate.

Required Skills:

• Technology experience, Bachelors degree and/or IT / Technical Staffing Experience from previous company is preferred for this position.
• Recruiting experience preferred but not required.
• Relevant experience could include professional or internship experience in IT, sales, technical recruiting, or marketing.
• The candidate should be PC literate in the Windows environment with specific knowledge of MS Word, Internet Explorer, and Outlook.
• The candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong problem solving abilities.

• Recruiter must live locally in the RTP, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, NC area. .
