Take a lead role in the overall station development process for multiple stations and mentoring colleagues. Software design experience needed in the development of automated manufacture and test stations. Experience required should be in the telecom, optical, or similar industry. This developer will join a small team of highly experienced software, hardware, and optical design engineers working on many aspects of the production station code.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops and deploys software solutions for various manufacturing processes
• Writes drivers for manufacturing equipment such as motion controllers, light meters, Optical Spectrum Analyzers.
• Prototyping and estimation
• Produces detailed specifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science BS Computer Science degree , engineering, or equivalent.
• C/C++ development experience in PC based test software
• Able to write device drivers for test equipment
