The Process Development Engineering Manager leads a team of engineers and technicians to establish, document, and implement capable injection molding processes through structured study and the application of scientific molding principles. This is a hands-on position, requiring functional knowledge of all aspects of the injection molding process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

• Manage a team of up to 10 process engineers and technicians across three shifts, operating 24 hours per day, 5 days per week (occasional weekend work, when necessary, less than 5%).
• Partner with product and tooling design engineering teams to deliver processes for new injection molding tools to production.
• Support production molding process optimizations and efficiency improvements.

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• A bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline is strongly preferred.
• American Injection Molding Institute (AIM) certification a strong plus.
• Experience injection molding equipment; specifying, upgrading, repairing, maintaining.
