Work on biomedical optical imaging devices in a lab that is focused on the development and clinical validation of non-invasive, high-resolution optical imaging methods for disease diagnosis with a number of these technologies currently involved in clinical trials.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in device engineering in a hospital, industrial, or research setting required.
• Experience in biomedical optics device or fiber-optics communication device design and fabrication with a strong background in mounting mechanics.
• Experience with laser-tissue interactions in the visible and near-infrared wavelengths is preferred.

EDUCATION:

• BS or MS degree in Optics, Biomedical Optics, or related field is required.
