Design, development, layout and support of the company’s mechanical welders, marking laser systems, future products and components. The individual will design and develop laser systems components, assemblies as well as update and maintain existing systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, design, layout and document various types of mechanical components, sub assemblies, assemblies, and laser systems including sheet metal design with the assistance of higher level engineers.
• Convert 2D designs to 3D models

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in Solid Works 3D design and Modeling
• Experience with Sheet Metal fabrication methods and technologies
• Mechanical engineering experience in layout and design.

EDUCATION:

• Minimum AS Mechanical Engineering Technology or BS

US Citizenship or Green Card holder requirement
