Laser Technical Support Technician

San jose, CA

Develops and manufactures diode-pumped ultrafast solid-state lasers for scientific and industrial applications.We are looking for a Laser Field Service Technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • First line contact for Customers, handle their technical requests on the based-installed systems.
  • Be pro-active and handle the repair of the systems (could sometimes happen at the Customers’ sites): diagnosis, technical qualification.
  • Support the Sales and After-Sales management in carrying regular feed-back to Sales and Engineers regarding the technical defaults.
  • Proactively inform about any problems that occur during daily operational tasks.
  • Customer Logistic/Administrative handling: shipment, documentation.
  • Handle regular and various types of reports and analyses using internal management tools.
  • Handle the technical relations with customers.
