Laser Technical Support Technician
San jose, CA
Develops and manufactures diode-pumped ultrafast solid-state lasers for scientific and industrial applications.We are looking for a Laser Field Service Technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.
Responsibilities:
- First line contact for Customers, handle their technical requests on the based-installed systems.
- Be pro-active and handle the repair of the systems (could sometimes happen at the Customers’ sites): diagnosis, technical qualification.
- Support the Sales and After-Sales management in carrying regular feed-back to Sales and Engineers regarding the technical defaults.
- Proactively inform about any problems that occur during daily operational tasks.
- Customer Logistic/Administrative handling: shipment, documentation.
- Handle regular and various types of reports and analyses using internal management tools.
- Handle the technical relations with customers.
