You’ll be a member of the product development team leading the design and packaging the laser module from concept to production. Demonstrated experience with the semiconductor laser modules is crucial for this role, along with an understanding of photonic components, optics, electronics and system integration. TECHNOLOGY: Medical Devices; Optical Imaging; Diagnostic Imaging; Laser Design RESPONSIBILITIES: Take part in the laser module design and optics assembly from concept to high-volume production. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: – MS or higher in Electrical or Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field – U.S. RESIDENCY, NO INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS please – 5+ years of experience in designing & packaging laser modules (O- or C- bands) – Zemax, thermal & mechanical understanding – Lasers, optical, and system testing/intergration experience – Biomedical device R&D experience a plus
