The work will include leading the mechanical design of a nonlinear optics platform using femtosecond lasers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead a combined team of local and remote mechanical engineers
• Lead mechanical design for optical based system, modules, and assemblies

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with Solid Works, and various simulation tools
• Experience in designing high stability fixtures for mounting lenses and fiber connections

Education and Qualifications:

• MS degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
