ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Americas Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing the order plan across the Americas region – encompassing North America, Central America, and South America.

This role requires someone who understands the fiber optic and photonics industry, builds strong relationships with technical buyers, and can translate market intelligence into actionable product and sales strategy.

Strong preference for candidate located local to Oregon. Remote candidates considered.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• BS in physics, EE, optics or equivalent combination of technical education and industry experience
• 3+ years of sales management experience, including leading regional teams and channel partners
• 5+ years of experience in the photonics, fiber optic, or optical communications industry
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, primarily within the Americas region. Typical travel is 25%.
• Candidates earlier in their careers with a strong technical foundation in optics, photonics, or fiber optics and demonstrated sales aptitude are encouraged to apply. We are willing to invest in developing the right person.

Preferred:

• Experience selling capital equipment or precision instrumentation to manufacturing environments
• Established relationships with fiber and cable manufacturers in the Americas region
