Vice President of Sales

VP of Sales candidate must have optical communications, telecom and data center sales experience !!! It is critical that the candidate has strong customer connections in this space.
Client is a world-leading supplier of optical communication components, modules, and subsystems. Its main businesses cover the R&D, production, and sales of optical chips, precision optical components, optical devices, optical modules, subsystems, and lidar. Products are mainly applied in telecom networks and data centers.
Would like the VP of Sales candidate to be a California resident ….but client flexible and is open to REMOTE
Core Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement sales strategies for a full range of optical communication products (including optical modules and other related products) targeting internet key accounts in the optical communication industry to achieve the team’s sales targets;
- Maintain and deeply develop internet key account resources, establish long-term and stable cooperative relationships, and explore potential customer needs;
- Coordinate sales team management, formulate sales plans, and guide the team to carry out customer development and maintenance work;
- Pay attention to industry trends and market competition, adjust sales strategies in a timely manner, and increase market share.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of working experience in the optical communication industry, with rich industry knowledge and resource accumulation;
- Possess high-quality and stable internet key account resources, with successful key account sales cases;
- Excellent sales management ability, negotiation ability and team leadership, able to work under certain pressure.

- Strong customer resources and solid relationships with key data center customers
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience
- Ability to develop and expand the market for our products
